The MBAT is a sporting event for MBA students and is organised by HEC Paris, one of the top business schools in Europe. The tournament is an annual gathering of international MBA students participating in sporting activities and events over three days. Festivities take place on the HEC campus and surrounding areas.
The MBAT was inaugurated in 1991 with the desire of its organisers to unite MBA participants to enjoy and compete in various sports. 600 people from 7 leading European business schools took part in the first event.
The MBAT has since grown. The present-day MBAT has over 1500 students and alumni of over 70 nationalities from 15 top European schools taking part.
